My college intentions

Hello coaches, I want to say a little about myself in this blog. I am from Clear Lake, Iowa. I kicked for varsity as a freshman and we went to the state championship that year. I have punted and kicked for varsity the past 2 years and am going into my senior year with high expectations. I feel that I have what it takes to be a great punter/kicker in college. I feel punting is my strong area but I am going to many camps to work on both areas. Every week i lift weights 4 days. I also am involved in soccer right now so I am working on my aerobic exercises as well. I am very determined to get better and be a division 1 punter/kicker. I come from a fairly small unheard of town to anyone that doesn't live in Iowa. I know I am not a big time recruit but I feel that I should be taken a look at. If any coaches want me to attend any camps please let me know and I can try and work it out. Also you can look at my game tapes or email me at wilhelm_2010@hotmail.com. From, DJ Wilhelm

Baseball was for me, too, a form of spirit-discipline, a way to make myself a better person-although I surely never sought discipline for such a reason. It became my Way, as the tea ceremony or flower arranging or the making of poems were the Ways of others.

Doug and Tommy's Frequently Asked Questions: "I can easily kick 20 and 25 yard field goals consistently. The ball looks to be good from another 20 or so yards back, but as soon as I move back to kick, the ball falls short. Is this a mental problem or should I do drills to increase distance? I think that it is partly mental because the farther I get from the uprights, the less confident I feel. What do you think?" -- Click here to read our answer
