Played for prestigious Odessa Permian High School in Odessa, TX. Led District and Area in punting avg 8-10 week season senior year. Walked on at Midwestern State University; Also Recruited by Arizona State, North Texas, LSU, Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M.
