This is the best kicking-specific tool that exists - for kickers and punters.  I have used it to get my 185 pound body to be one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL history from outside 50 yards (64%).  The product comes with my Kicking.com Power Kicker© Illustrated Workout, which will give you all of the best exercises (I consulted with a physical therapist and tested the exercises myself) to both increase leg strength and reduce the likelihood of injury.

If you follow my Power Kicker© workout and supplement it with a good weight training regime, I guarantee results will follow.  I know kickers whose kick-offs have improved by 5 yards or more!  Most weight programs do not help kickers develop their kicking-specific muscles.  And because kicking and punting are such specific movements it is not beneficial to load weight to the kicking motion (i.e. a weight band around your ankle).  This extra weight will cause you to alter your technique to accommodate the additional weight.  For this reason, the Power Kicker© is designed to add just enough resistance so that you can still maintain your proper technique.

Using the Power Kicker© is kind of like putting a donut on your baseball bat.  You can practice your swing with just enough weight that you feel some resistance, but not so much weight that you loose your technique.  Similar to the donut, once you take the Power Kicker© off of your ankle your leg will feel amazingly fast!  If you do this workout regularly your leg will become faster and faster.
