Personal comments from Jonathan--
I am currently trying to land a place kicking position with professional team. In March I attended the Husted Pro Kicking camp held this year in Boca Raton, FL. I enjoyed the camp and met some nice people there.
I wish the best for the CMU football team in 21013. In high school I was selected Varsity Team Co-Captain for the 2005 season. Maintaining good grades, being a good role model, and improving my kicking game are my top priorities. Much of my training has been provided by 4-Down Sports and Top Recruit Kicking. My longest FG in practice was 63 yards and longest in a game being 51 yards during my Sophomore season setting a new school record. As time permits I work with kids who want to improve their kicking skills. I also volunteer for Young Life (an organization that works with high school aged kids). SOME 2005 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: an early season Hip Flexor injury lowered career stats so I did not have many opportunties for field goals. However, the Avg. net for the last 5 punts of the season was 44 yards of which (3) were IS 20 and (1) FC. 25 of my 29 punts for the season resulted in zero yards on return, with the total yards on return for 2005 being 59. 2004 Season; Kicked FG in OT to win one game. Kicked a 35 yard PATA during double O/T win against our school's biggest rival (during that same game the 5 punts I had yielded 8 total yards return, 2 fair catches, 1 fumble, and 2 punts inside 20). Kicking and/or Senior Day camps I attended during 2005 were: University of Maryland, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Bowling Green State, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Notre Dame, Wayne State

Selected to The Flint Journal News Paper's All-Area Football Team for Place Kicker. Rated as one of the state's top kickers by the Detroit Free Press' Mick McCabe in the August 25, 2005 edition. Rated Division 1-A REAL DEAL Scholardhip-Offer Now! for kicking at Scout.com's May 20-22 Combine. 2004 - 2nd Team All Big Nine Conference Kicking and Punting; Awarded 1st place for FG Distance, Punt Hang Time and Distance at a Dick Peirce's Kicking camp; Won Punt Hang Time and Distance and Longest FG at a Kohl's Kicking camp. 2002 - Won 1st place award for FG Distance and Accuracy at a Dick Pierce Camp.
