Tom owns and operates Feely Kicking School in Tampa, Florida.

Tom began his specialty as a kicking coach in 1992 when his oldest son, Jay Feely, was 14 and became interested in becoming a kicker in high school. Jay became a high school Blue Chip All-American and thus helped launched his father's reputation as a gifted teacher of kicking and punting. Jay went on to play for the 1997 National Champions, University of Michigan. After his college days, Jay came back to Tampa to coach with his dad at Jesuit High School while Jay continued to train for a professional kicking career. In 2001, Jay made the final roster for the Atlanta Falcons as an unrestricted free agent, and in that same year, he was selected the NFL rookie kicker of the year. Jay led the NFL in scoring in 2002 and 2005. After two years with the New York Giants (2005 and 2006) in which he had the best two years span of any kicker in Giants history, Jay was signed by the Miami Dolphins.

In January of 2007 Tom Feely earned National Board Certification. He is the only Nationally Board Certified Teacher working in the kicking coaching industry. Tom earned his B.A. at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul with a double major in Physical Education and Social Sciences in 1974. He began his career teaching and coaching in Minnesota . He has been coaching football every year since he began in 1974 (33 years), serving as head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, and special teams coordinator. He currently is the Special Teams Coordinator at Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida.

In 1980 he earned his Master's Degree in the field of Counseling. That same year he began his counseling career working primarily in the field of college counseling and scholarship acquisition. He served as Director of Guidance for St. Thomas Academy (1980-1986) and also for Zephyrhillls High School , Florida (1987-1996). In 1996 Tom was awarded the Counselor of the Year by the University of Miami. Tom is the tenth counselor in Hillsborough (FL.) County's history (his current employer) to be Nationally Board Certified as a Counselor. Tom is also licensed and certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Mediator and as a Parenting Coordinator.
