European Kicking Camp/Competition

To all kickers and punters in Europe! Peter Kramberger (Vienna Vikings) and I (Gabor Sviatko, Budapest Wolves) are thinking about organizing a kicking camp/competition for european kickers and punters in Vienna, Austria at the Viking stadium on a weekend in July of 2006. We are interested if you and other kickers and punters are interested in a 2 or 3 day event where we evaluate you, tape you, coach you and rank you based on your performance. We believe that organizing such event will start something that should benefit all participants and the european american football community. We are willing to hold this camp if at least 10 participants show their interest in attending such an event. We don't want to make money off of this so everybody would be paying for their hotel and accomodation. So, for you, it would mean: * 1-2 nights at a hotel (or a motel or hostel, which are a lot cheaper), * a roundtrip plane ticket or car (if you are in driving distance), * your kicking equipment (just cleats, tees and 1-5 balls, as many as you can get) and * spending money for food and drinks. Please forward this letter to all your kicking buddies in Europe and please have them reply to my email address (gaborsviatko@yahoo.com) whether they would be interested in attending such a camp/competition or not. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Later, Europe's top kicker Peter Kramberger (Vienna Vikings, Austria) and Gabor Sviatko (Budapest Wolves, Hungary) http://kicking.com/members/view.asp?id=kingofkick http://kicking.com/members/view.asp?id=gaborsviatko

Baseball was for me, too, a form of spirit-discipline, a way to make myself a better person-although I surely never sought discipline for such a reason. It became my Way, as the tea ceremony or flower arranging or the making of poems were the Ways of others.

Doug and Tommy's Frequently Asked Questions: "I can easily kick 20 and 25 yard field goals consistently. The ball looks to be good from another 20 or so yards back, but as soon as I move back to kick, the ball falls short. Is this a mental problem or should I do drills to increase distance? I think that it is partly mental because the farther I get from the uprights, the less confident I feel. What do you think?" -- Click here to read our answer
